Newborn Care Specialist (NCS)
A Newborn Care Specialist is a professional with updated training in newborn care. We serve all families. As Newborn Care Specialists, our responsibilities include ensuring the safety of the baby, diapering, swaddling, preparing bottles and feeding, facilitating nursing, and implementing healthy routines, safe sleep practices, and sleep conditioning. We also take the time to help parents transition to self-manage daily routines and feeding with their babies. Additionally, we educate parents in all areas they need to succeed in their new lifelong role.
Breastfeeding And Bottle feeding support
With experience in both breastfeeding and bottle feeding, our team is able to support you in all areas of concern and provide much-needed assistance. We will guide you with feeding schedules, feeding positions, and digestion techniques to make this a more enjoyable and loving journey. We also believe that parents, and close family play a crucial role in providing support during this time. We will teach everything from breastfeeding and bottle feeding to milk storage and ideal temperatures.
Sleep Conditioning And Sleep Training Support
Nights can be challenging to manage, especially when sleep training or after giving birth. Whether you are looking for long-term support or just a night of rest, we are here to help. We teach your baby independent sleep habits and techniques, setting them up for a great night's sleep. By now, you’ve probably heard of "twelve hours of sleep by twelve weeks old." There are many methods in this industry and numerous online resources, each with different ideas, methods, feeding schedules, and routines. The reality is that the best choice you will likely find is sleep conditioning from day one. You may ask, what exactly is the difference? In our opinion, sleep training is a more extensive and committed method, while sleep conditioning is a gentle and gradual approach. We can support and educate you in any of these important areas, depending on your baby’s overall health and age.
